We have established a robust Sharia governance framework. Central to this framework is the assigning of an independent Sharia Committee, responsible for reviewing investments, issuing Sharia rulings and overseeing Sharia compliance.
To support the effective operation of the framework, we have appointed Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB), to act as a coordinator and managing of the Sharia governance.
SRB does not issue fatwas and does not substitute the role of the Sharia Committee; rather, it supports the Sharia Committee by ensuring that Sharia governance, supervision, Shari’a Committee secretariat, and audit processes are consistently applied, implemented and well-documented.
